Mr. Scheer is a member of Kohlberg’s Investment Committee and Credit Committee and leads the Firm’s credit investing platform. Mr. Scheer joined Kohlberg in 2017 and was named Partner in 2023. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Scheer was Portfolio Manager at LStar Capital. Prior to that, he was with CIT Group, Inc. in their Problem Loan Management group.
Mr. Scheer received a B.Sc. from New York University.
