Tony Bender

Mr. Bender joined Kohlberg as an Operating Executive, Technology in 2026. He is responsible for cross-portfolio IT and cyber programs and conducting portfolio company technology diligence and supporting management teams on strategic IT, AI, digital and cyber initiatives. In addition to Kohlberg, Mr. Bender was worked extensively in private equity with Advent, SVP and Astorg through his firm EBITDA Consulting Partners LLC.

Mr. Bender is a serial-CIO with six global CIO appointments spanning over 25 years. Mr. Bender served as CIO at Culligan International;
CIO at Edgewell Personal Care; CIO at Energizer Holdings; VP, IT at Unilever; CIO at Alberto Culver; CIO at Relizon Company; and CIO at Dan River. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bender was a Technology Practice Leader with Price Waterhouse.

Based in Austin, Mr. Bender received his undergraduate degree from Frostburg State University in Economics and completed his graduate work in Business Administration at Shippensburg University.
