Samuel Frieder

Mr. Frieder is the Managing Partner of Kohlberg and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and the Investment Committees of Private Equity, Strategic Equity and Credit. Mr. Frieder joined the Firm in 1989, was made a Partner in 1995 and named Managing Partner in 2006. Mr. Frieder oversees all aspects of the Firm’s investment activities, personnel decisions and other internal operational and administrative matters. He is a member of the board of directors of AWP Safety, Cadence, CLEAResult, DecoPac, Elevate Outdoor Collective, EngagePEO, ENTRUST Solutions Group, Loenbro, MarketCast, Meadows Behavioral Health, Nelipak, Nellson, OB Hospitalist Group, Parts Authority, RESA Power, Senneca, Spinal Elements, Spire Orthopedic Partners, Trinity Life Sciences, United Digestive and Worldwide Clinical Trials. Mr. Frieder received an A.B. from Harvard College.
