Gordon Woodward

Mr. Woodward is the Chief Investment Officer of Kohlberg and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and the Investment Committees of Private Equity, Strategic Equity and Credit. He joined Kohlberg in 1996, was named a Partner in 2001 and became Chief Investment Officer in 2010. As the Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Woodward is responsible for managing the Investment Committee process for new investments, including portfolio construction strategy, oversight of the Firm’s due diligence efforts, and close interaction with the transaction and monitoring teams. Mr. Woodward is a member of the board of directors of AWP Safety, BluSky, CLEAResult, Elevate Outdoor Collective, EngagePEO, ENTRUST Solutions Group, Loenbro, MarketCast, Meadows Behavioral Health, Myers EPS, Nelipak, Nellson, OB Hospitalist Group, Parts Authority, RESA Power, Riveron, Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, Senneca, Spinal Elements, Spire Orthopedic Partners, Trinity Life Sciences and Worldwide Clinical Trials. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Woodward was with James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated. Mr. Woodward received an A.B. from Harvard College.
