Dwight Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs joined Kohlberg as an Operating Advisor in 2026. He currently serves on the board of directors of AWP Safety. Mr. Jacobs spent the majority of his career at Duke Energy Corporation, a Fortune 150 company, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Procurement Officer. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jacobs was a Partner at Arthur Andersen, where he advised large and complex organizations on accounting, financial planning and analysis, capital markets transactions, governance, and enterprise risk management.

Mr. Jacobs earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed executive education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
