Clay Herron

Mr. Herron joined Kohlberg as an Operating Executive in 2024. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Blusky, ENTRUST, CLEAResult, and RESA Power. Previously, Mr. Herron was the CFO of Osmose Utilities Services under Kohlberg’s ownership, and was a member of the Board of Directors of GPRS. He is responsible for portfolio company diligence and operations management focused on the finance and accounting functions. Mr. Herron enjoyed a 40-year career in a variety of executive, finance, M&A and operating roles across multiple industries. His experience prior to joining Kohlberg includes CFO roles with successful investor exits at portfolio companies owned by multiple private equity sponsors in industrial services, logistics and health care industries.

Mr. Herron received both B.A. and M.B.A degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
