Clay Herron

Mr. Herron joined Kohlberg as an Operating Executive in 2024 and was named an Operating Partner in 2026. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Blusky, CLEAResult, and RESA Power. Previously, Mr. Herron served as Chief Financial Officer of Osmose Utilities Services under Kohlberg’s ownership and was a member of the board of directors of GPRS. He is responsible for portfolio company diligence and operations management focused on finance and accounting functions. Mr. Herron has over 40 years of experience across executive, finance, M&A, and operating roles across multiple industries, including industrial services, logistics, and healthcare. Mr. Herron received both a B.A. and an M.B.A degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
