Kirk Samuels

Mr. Samuels joined Kohlberg in 2026 as an Operating Executive. He is responsible for cybersecurity risk management across the portfolio. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Samuels was Executive Director of Cybersecurity at Netrio, where he oversaw cybersecurity governance for private equity and portfolio company clients across the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors. Prior to that, he served as Chief Information Security Officer and Director of IT at Sports Endeavors, the operator of SOCCER.COM, the world’s largest soccer retailer. Mr. Samuels received a B.A. and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems, with a concentration in Cybersecurity, from Boston University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Cloud Security Professional and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.
