Critical Homecare Solutions, Inc. (“CHS”) is a leading provider of infusion therapy products and services. Home infusion therapy is administered to patients suffering from a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions. CHS manages the administration of medications, nutrients, or other solutions for patients, which are intravenously, subcutaneously, enterally or epidurally dispensed. Product offerings include: anti-infectives, used to treat a variety of bacterial infections; total parenteral nutrition (“TPN”) therapy, used to provide life-sustaining nutrients to patients with impaired or altered digestive tracts; IV immune globulin (“IVIG”) therapy, which is administered to patients with immune deficiency or altered immune status; and enteral nutrition, a feeding-tube based therapy for patients with obstructions to their gastrointestinal tract. CHS provides certified professional staff to train and educate patients or caregivers as well as providing related equipment and supplies. From its inception, CHS has acquired four providers, expanding from the Northeast to include the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and South regions. Acquisitions included: Specialty Pharma, Inc., New England Home Therapies, Inc., Deaconess Enterprises, Inc., Infusion Solutions, Inc., Applied Health Care, Ltd., Option Care of Brunswick and Melbourne, and Option Care of Chester County. With a platform that extends throughout the eastern half of the U.S., CHS expects to make further acquisitions to broaden its geographic reach and range of payor relationships.
