Mr. Lacovara joined Kohlberg in 1988, became a Principal in 1995 and Co-Managing Partner in 2006. From 1987 to 1988 he was an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Lazard Frères & Co. Prior to that, he was an analyst in the Corporate Finance Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He is a member of the board of directors of AGY Holdings Corporation, Bauer Hockey, Central Parking Corporation, Critical Homecare Solutions, Inc., Hawkeye Group, Hoffmaster Group Inc., Katy Industries, Inc., Kohlberg Capital Corporation, Niagara Corporation, Nielsen & Bainbridge, Inc., Packaging Dynamics Corporation, Pittsburgh Glass Works L.L.C., Stanadyne Corporation, SVP Holdings, Ltd., Trico Products, Inc. and United States Infrastructure Corporation. Mr. Lacovara holds an A.B. from Harvard College, a B.E. in Engineering Sciences from Hofstra University and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.
