The firm has invested approximately $2 billion during this period, and has structured and raised in excess of $6 billion of capital from the private debt markets and the public capital markets to for its portfolio companies. The firm has successfully exited a number of its investments through sales to corporate acquirors, public equity offerings, and recapitalizations, in all cases ensuring that the companies, their management, and employees were positioned for continued success. Kohlberg & Company has returned approximately $2.5 billion of cash to its investors and has ongoing investments valued at more than $1 billion in a broad range of companies, many of which were acquired in the last few years.
